KONZERT // Frankie & Yamirah

Frankie  & Yamirah

Berlin-based singer and songwriter Frankie Balou has been making music since her teens, releasing her first record with Frankfurt label 3p and reaching the German charts. Rooted in Soul and deep Blues, her warm, distinctive voice moves between unreleased original songs and a selection of her favorite covers.

She is joined by Berlin-based guitarist Yamirah Gercke, a Berklee College of Music graduate whose atmospheric playing blends Jazz, Soul and psychedelic sounds.

The two first met by chance one summer day, when Yamirah was playing her floating guitar on the street below Frankie’s window. That spontaneous encounter grew into a musical connection, bringing their two distinct musical backgrounds together.

Expect an intimate and powerful night full of groove, emotion and, above all, Soul.
