DESCRIPTION:With her acoustic indie soul and crystal-clear songwriting, the Berlin-based singer and guitarist Anna Hauss touches everyone who has a soft spot for profound songs.\nIn her groove-accentuated, thoughtful songs, that are carried by her great voice, she is able to whisper deeply and float soprano bright.\nAnna was born in Berlin and grew up in an artistic household. Whilst studying jazz at Leipzig conservatory, she gained notoriety as the front-woman for the band Still in the Woods, who went on to tour internationally.\n\nAfter completing her studies, she co-composed and performed a song for the Netflix series „The Queen’s Gambit“, which gained her fans around the globe. On 9/29/23 she released her first solo album „how long is now“, which was reviewed in various media, including Rolling Stone, Deutschlandfunk, Radio Eins, FluxFM (Top50 Best Songs 2023), Diffus, Spiegel Online and many more. The album was also presented on an international tour, with concerts in Berlin, London, New York, Bucharest and Paris, among others.
